I recently spent the week in Berlin for A Maze. 2023, a flamingo furry party moonlighting as an interactive art festival. Mountains and miles away in 2016, A/Maze Johannesburg 🪦 was the first games event I'd ever attended, so it was awesome to make the pilgrimage to the mothership.
Highlights ⚡️

Lost on Mars by Trey Ramm
Winner of the Exlporer Award and my favourite installation, Lost on Mars is a tour de force of analog switch wizardry. The highest compliment I can pay it is that I enjoyed reading the manual.

A dystopian opera walking sim...yes.
Badabeam by Titouan Millet and Katpatat
